How Much Do You Hunger For God?

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

Our solitary place with our Father in heaven is the most vital part of our day, hands down. Hidden in our secret place with Jesus builds a relationship that nothing in the public can ever destroy. In fact, it is those moments that will drive our public life far beyond what we can ever imagine with a much greater peace and joy. The presence of God on our life will determine how effective we are as ambassadors of His magnificent Kingdom. God’s presence during every pressing moment is what separates our works and His love through us. His presence compels, encourages, uplifts, ultimately the wonderful presence of God is what allows us to bring the complete law of God to life.

Activity during our time spent in His presence can vary from quiet soaking, adorning, intent listening, laughter, cries, fervent waring and much more. During a moment I personally spent with God, I layed and rested while meditating on his faithful Love. As “Make a Way” played, He spoke and I listened. I remembered and was ever grateful.

Nothing better can usher in the presence of God like your desperate hunger for Him. His ever present presence goes about the earth looking to satisfy those who desire Him.

“God doesn’t simply go where He is needed, we live in a fallen world; He is always needed. God attends to those who desire Him”. ~Darryl Pratt

The world, and those who serve the god of this world, will not agree with the operations of the spiritual man – the man of faith and anointing. We will be mocked, ridiculed, and misunderstood, but we need to act in such a way as to represent Christ in order to win them to Him.- Dr. Leon van Rooyen, Global Ministries Bible Institute
